MAY 25, 2009 - Round table on dissemination of Best Practices

Hilfswerk Austria in Moldova in Orhei has organized round table on dissemination of Best Practices which gathered more than 40 participants willing to share their experience and to learn from colleagues regarding the implementation of Small Grants Programme – Round I in frames of project „Vocational Education and Rural Development” financed by Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).
Project has envisaged enhancing of economic activity in the target region through support of non-agricultural initiatives from rural areas and namely support of SMEs (new and existing ones), non-governmental organizations, LPA representatives, etc.
Overall in frames of Small Grant Programme – round I have benefited 20 business in 17 communities from total 47 proposals received. The total amount of grants offered is 800 443 Lei MD allocated for purchase of furniture, equipment, accessories, office appliances, etc.
During the round table current grant beneficiaries Vasile Mardari from Ciulucani, Anton Nistor from Sarateni Vechi, Alexandra Saharnean from Pohrebeni have shared their experience in project implementations, have discussed difficulties, partnerships achievements and future plans.

As well the round table have gathered representatives of LPA from project target regions: Sergiu Muravschi, vice-president of raion Orhei, Natalia Ciubaci, Hilfswerk Austria in Moldova, Eugenia Rosca, Trade and Industry Chamber Telenesti, Svetalan Zaitev, public administration section Soldanesti, Eugeniu Postu, Raional Council Rezina and others.

Project is financed by Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and implemented by Hilfswerk Austria in Moldova.
