MISSION STATEMENT
OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
The representation of the Public Association “Hilfswerk Austria” in the Republic of Moldova is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organisation, which contributes to the improvement of life quality by providing sustainable support for the economic development and social protection in a non-bureaucratic, professional and directly onsite manner for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged from social point of view people in the Republic of Moldova.

“Hilfswerk Austria” in Moldova is a successful, well-structured organisation, with clearly defined objectives. Our organisation provides considerable help to the society via promotion of harmonious relationships between its members.
So, we are an organisation that is:
- Philanthropic, because we wish to improve the well-being of others, not carrying about any materialised profit. All we do is dedicated both to our beneficiaries and donors.
- Respected, because the activities we had performed being frank, honest and rendering qualitative services, ensured us a sound trust of our partners, beneficiaries and donors.
- Viable, because the projects we implemented are designated to create a sustainable foundation for the future.
- Life-asserting, because we succeed to realise our hopes in an open heart manner. We are not concerned by the stereotypes and provide equal opportunities to all people.
- Employee-oriented, because we strive to offer benefits to all employees, as we consider that the motivated staff is the key to the success of our organisation. Therefore we foster professionalism through ongoing staff training.
- Patriotic, because all our activities are designed to strengthen the power and enhance the prestige of the nation, promote values of culture and national identity.

“Hilfswerk Austria” in Moldova pleads for an open and non-discriminative society where’s no place for the stereotypes. All our activities are ment to render assistance in fighting poverty and ensure sustainable outcomes of our services. We foster volunteer work and deem that this is the key to ensure sustainable efficiency of our activities. Our beneficiaries are the socially vulnerable groups of people, with responsible, independent and motivated members wishing to make positive changes. We are in particular specialised in providing help to children in need and their families.
In this way, the major objectives of our work are the following:
- Promote democratic values
- Improve the life quality and eradicate the poverty
- Respect human rights without any discrimination
- Develop civil society
